Yetisburg
This past Sunday I had the chance to test out Yetisburg after one of the RPG Day regulars got it on special order. While the rules themselves proved to be a bit difficult to work out, once you actually sit down and start playing it quickly becomes the sort of game that guarantees both laughs and entertainment- whether you’re playing or just observing.

Cthulhu Dice Review
Made in the same general spirit as Zombie Dice, Cthulhu Dice is a Steve Jackson Games product that has only a single 12-sided die, and instead of gathering up brains, you try to keep your sanity.
Components
Cthulhu Dice is a much simpler game than Zombie Dice, and the components reflect this: you get the large 12-sided die, a handful of glass counters, and I believe a small bag for holding both (along with the rules, of course). This is another game where two or more people can play, although they suggest that if you have two people, each play the part of a pair of cultists, in order to keep things more interesting.

A Gamer Has Left The Table…

It is my sad duty to inform you that we have lost one of our own. Joshua Mapstead, left the mortal realm late Friday night. This was a young man who showed an exuberance for roleplaying, and gaming that you do not typically see in teens these days. His presence will be sorely missed.
Joshua was relatively new to our little slice of reality. But I feel that he made an impact that will be felt for a long time. He enjoyed gaming and sought to include everyone when he played. Once the dice came out he would become animated, taking on the persona of his characters, relishing the games that he played and showing a desire to learn and grow as a gamer. His love of gaming and concern for the people around him that was hard to ignore.
